In Mumbai we perform surgeries at the Saifee Hospital in South Mumbai. In any other city we choose the hospital based on its standards and ability to deliver world class medical care. |

Almost everything specific to Bariatric Surgery in terms of instruments can be reused. However, re-use makes precision instruments prone to mechanical error. It is our strict policy at CODS to use high quality but single use disposable equipment exclusively. Some examples of equipment which are disposable are the Staplers, stapler firing gun, ports (trocars) and the harmonic scalpel.
A small mention about costs here is prudent. Most of our colleagues are willing to lower the charges of surgery; this is so because a lot of them choose to re-use most of the equipment, as it is the only area where costs of surgery may be cut. At CODS however we choose otherwise, as a result we are forced to levy the charges on our patients. We choose to put our patients above the cost. |
