Cods clinic at Mumbai is the best in Asia! Dr. M, Lakdawalla is the best surgeon for this type of surgery. See the cc to column, I am sending you many contacts at this cods clinic. CODS means (control of obesity & diabetes surgery)!

Ashish was operated by Dr. Lakdawalla, on 23rd Jan., 2012. and she has lost lots of weight! Since Dr. Lakdawalla is a surgeon of international repute, I have fondly, given him an international name: Dr. Muffi woodman! He an adorable chap and will do wonders with your brother!

As far as I am concerned, on my just concluded Nairobi trip, I will continue to eat exotic animals like crocodiles, zebras, ostriches, chicken, wildebeest, camels etc etc! They are all zero cholesterol and low fat meats!

But I advise you: 'STACKED AGAINST ALL ODDS? GO TO CODS!'

I just wanted to thank you from heart. That during operation you did my biopsy of liver. If you had not done that I would hv never realised that it was there. We hv done all my test they are all negative. The cause is due to my fatty liver. We are also consulting doctors for precaution I hv to take now onwards. God bless you and your family always and keep them away from all difficulties in life.

My wife was one of your patients in march, and i would like to extend to you my deepest appreciation for your medical care and treatment of her.She had been suffering for years from severe ulcer colitis and had gone through doctors.

It was fortunate to come across you. After only short period of treatment and medication under your care, i am so glad that she is feeling better and no longer suffering from the pain that debilitated her in the past. She can now to work and do her everyday duties and responsibilities without suffering from pain.

The care I received was above and beyond the type of care I had received here in the United States. Everyone was genuinely concerned about my care, and tried to make me as comfortable as possible. From the doctors and nurses to the housekeeping and food service staff, everyone was wonderful.

Now that I have returned home to the United States, it is three months post-surgery and I have lost 53 lbs. and I am doing very well.

I am thankful that they continue to care about me post-operative and I want to let the staff know that I really appreciated all they did for me.

I was over weight and weighed about 173.5 kgs, it was very difficult to stay in a society of thin people. In India people do not respect fat people. I was always made fun of. I understand that God does not give every thing to one person. Some have wealth, some don't; some have health some don't. My family decided that this operation would help me get my health back. Thus on 10 July 06 gastric bypass operation was done.

One month later I had already lost 10 kg and thereafter month by month I started loosing weight 3kg to 4kg every month. Exactly a year later I weigh 60 kilos lighter and my BMI has dropped to 32. I feel much healthier and have gained lots of self confidence. I can even purchase ready made clothes which was never possible a year back. Well, traveling by economy class ticket is also possible now and I save a lot of money that way too.

Sherry D'souza

I was 32 years old and weighed 122 kgs. I had two small children, and I didn't want them to have a sick mother or copy my lifestyle and eating habits. I was already too tired to play with them. I had tried restrictive diets, GM's diet and a high-protein diet. I even went through VLCC. And not that I never exercised! I was (and still am) very fond of physical activity - swimming, walking and weight lifting. It didn't matter what I did, I didn't lose, I just didn't lose. It was so annoying!

18 months after the Lap Band surgery, today I stand at a phenomenal 60 kilo's - half of what I weighed earlier. I still continue to exercise daily and follow the team's guidelines on nutrition and healthy eating. I don't remember when was the last time I felt so good about myself. My family is happier because I am happier. Filled with energy and self-confidence today I feel like I can do anything.
