About Dr. Lakdawala - Founder of CODS India

The founder and director of CODS, Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala or 'Dr. Muffi' as he's endearingly referred to is one of the most recognizable faces in bariatric and advanced laparoscopic surgery today. This is the result of years of pioneering work in the field of gastrointestinal diseases and the high levels of skill that he brings to his practice. He has performed the largest number of Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgeries (SILS) in the world with a very high success rate, a procedure that needs a very skilled surgeon. He has many publications to his credit.

In 2004 he set up CODS with the vision of offering world-class obesity and digestive solutions to patients under one roof; a dream that has grown by leaps and bounds over the years.
